Welcome to our Medical Administrative Assistant Course. This course is approximately 120 hours. This course is virtual and self paced, allowing students to complete the course on their own schedule. Below are general overview of the topics in the course.

Upon successful completion of the course, students are eligible to take the national certification exam through American Allied Health.

UNIT 1. PROFESSIONAL AND CAREER RESPONSIBILITIES
UNIT 2. INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION
UNIT 3. MANAGING THE OFFICE
UNIT 4. RECORDS MANAGEMENT
UNIT 5. HEALTH CLAIMS
UNIT 6. FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION

Included in the course:

  • Certificate of Completion
    • Any student who successfully passes the course will receive a certificate of completion for the course.
  • Resume creation and job placement assistance

Please note certification and licensure requirements may vary per state. This may require training outside of this course. Most states do not require any formal training and it is merely to help your chances of employment.  Please consult with your state for acceptance. We do not guarantee acceptance by any state or job.

We are unable to guarantee that all students will pass. If you fail the course, a refund will not be issued.

National certification is not guaranteed. We can also not guarantee all states or jobs will accept the national certification being offered. Any courses offered at a sales price will utilize American Allied Health for certification testing.

If you are on a payment plan, please note you are required to pay all payments, regardless of if you decide to complete the course or not. If you fail to submit payment on time, a $25 late fee will be charged for each late payment. If you are over 7 days late, you will be dropped from the course and forfeit all fees.

If you are on a payment plan, you will not get access to the virtual clinical modules until 50% of your payment plan is complete.
